身成方形 構圖分上下两節的設計. 上部是小圓眼的簡化人面紋. 下面雕刻簡化嘼面紋. 抽象地合成了帶羽冠的騎嘼人像圖. 在分角處合左右两邊就能把面形看得更清楚了. 琮身玉質呈雞骨白, 基本上很平均地鈣化了. 只有小部份露出了玉石的紋理, 内含雜色的暗筋.

兽面原整無缺. 彫工精巧. 以减地平凸的方法把嘼面做成浮彫狀. 打磨方面細腻厚重, 特别是那不規則圆 形的大眼, 並非普通的手工可以簡單地完成的. 此外, 直缐像是用砣輪打磨出來的 眼睛由空心筒形鑽加解玉沙磨成 邊角處理鋭利 一里點也不含糊. 整體來看是生坑藏品.
良渚文化期.

The square body is in a tubular form. Each corner exhibits faces. The design has two sections. The upper one has smaller round eyes, resembling a human face. The lower part has large oval eyes, resembling a beast. Cross referencing with other design of the same period, it is likely to represent a person or God riding on a beast. The soft type of jade material has turned bone white after being long time underground.

The carvings are relatively well preserved with little damage. The reduction of surrounding material makes the faces stand out in a three dimension appearance. The polishing is extremely fine and detailed. On the other hand little attention was paid to the internal ring. Think about the limited tool set they had and the exposure to art at that time, the result is amazing.
