一個黑地描紅的漆盤, 口沿和足圈都加上了鎏金銅扣. 漆盤上面繪劃着不少的神獸和雀鳥, 在連綿不絕的流雲之間穿插跑跳. 整體浪漫奇幻. 充滿了對天地的想像力和敬畏.
這盤子的制作用上了一種特殊的工藝, 就是錐刻. 工匠們用尖錐在剛完成的漆面上刻劃圖畫. 缺點是線條幼小, 圖案不够明顕, 只在漢代流行了一段時期. 後來在刻線里填上金彩, 名為戧金, 效果好多了.

This is a black lacquer bowl decorated with red lines and drawings. This includes mythic animals and birds, among the misty clouds. It is full of imagination and respects to the unknown world.
One special technique was applied on the work. It is the pin drawing. A sharp needle instrument was used to etch figures and patterns on the finished lacquer surface. These subtle lines of decoration was only used for a short period of time, pacing the foundation for the gold-filled etchings further down the track.
Its rim and foot ring are mounted with gilded copper.
