一個黑色的玉璧. 跟普通玉璧不同的地方是在內圈,有如衣領般凸起的乃一環,因以為名. 又稱之謂凸緣璧, T字環璧等. 這着來简單的一種特色,在工藝上是一大挑戰. 最基本就是不能一刀把玉石切片. 而是配合桶形下鑽的工序把形状摳出來. 在用料上, 手藝上和時間都比普通玉璧要求大得多.

It is a disc (Bi) made of black jade. Its main characteristic is the collar like portion stands out at the inner ring. This feature appears simple. However it was a big challenge in those days. instead of a straight cut to split a stone, they have to stop the cut at the collar and did a round drill downward without breaking collar. With primitive tools it is not surprise to see many failures to achieve a successful cutting. Adding the costs of additional material, better quality of stone, more time to polish..etc, it is no doubt a more important piece of jade comparing to the peers.
